By Faith Community Development is excited to announce that the Level Up: Summer Learning program is back, bigger and better, right here in the Adamsville community! It is a fun-packed and intimate learning environment designed for rising 1st - 8th grade students for the 2022-23 school year. Through this 7-week program, our students will be given the opportunity to make sure they are well prepared for the upcoming school year all while having loads of SUMMER FUN!

9a - 3p on Mon - Thurs and 9a - 12p on Fridays (Before and after care available)
90+ hours of Reading instruction
90+ hours of Math instruction
Project Based Learning
Field trips
Only 15 students per class (Space is limited!!!)
Only $100/week

Next Level Preparation Program

Next Level Preparation Program is affectionately known as the "Level Up" Program. Through Level UP we actively engage with youth between 6th and 12th grade through our M.E.S.H. Cycle.

MENTORSHIP- Level Up Mentorship program is comprised of four essential areas:

Student seminars that ignite and engage Middle School and High School students.
Student-led activities.
Peer coaching program called Each One Reach One.
Student ambassador program called iLeveled Up.

EXPOSURE- The Career Exposure Program allows participants to explore career skill building, college, and career exploration, and help students better navigate 8th grade and high school to lead to a more successful future. Students will complete a service learning project, and take trips to local universities and to business. Students also have the opportunity to earn income through the program.

To be eligible for this program, students must be:

Between the ages of 12-18 AND be currently enrolled in school
A resident of Alabama
Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher

SCHOLARSHIP- Since the inception of the scholarship program in 2018, it is our goal to not only award scholarships but to advocate for various scholarships for our youth. To qualify, youth must be enrolled as a full-time senior in high school, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have been accepted at a four-year college/university and be a Level Up member. All applicants must prove financial need and merit.

HONOR- Our HONOR Program is one of our most celebrated programs. With so much focus and spotlight on negative behavior from today's youth, the Level Up Program strives to HONOR youth in the community who have made drastic improvement in their behavior and/or academics. Through HONOR, we celebrate and then cultivate Next Level steps for a more productive future.
